Gym membership

We offer a variety of membership options to suit your lifestyle. More information can be found here

You can freeze your membership for 1 to 3 full calendar months once per membership year, for a £10 fee per month. Freezes start from your next payment date and run for full months only. You can unfreeze early via the app, with a pro rata payment if needed. Any frozen time is added to the end of your membership.

To cancel your membership, you need to provide one month's notice. You can do this inside the Total Fitness app or by contacting us at membership@totalfitness.co.uk.

If you want to pay-as-you-go, you can buy your pass online. If you are a Total Fitness member, you can buy a pass via the main menu in the Total Fitness app. Pay-as-you-go is open to all women (members and non-members)

Your pay-as-you-go pass is valid for seven days, including the day of purchase. Once you've swiped into the gym, you've got access for that entire day – which means you can swipe in and out as many times as you like during that day.

Yes, you can access the space as soon as you have received the QR code.

Yes, you must be 16 or over to use The Women's Gym.

Yes, you can try The Women’s Gym Wilmslow. Get your free pass here. Currently, we are not offering free passes at Whitefield to protect member experience.
On the day

We want you to feel comfortable and confident whilst working out. We recommend wearing athletic wear that allows for easy movement, such as leggings, shorts, sports bras, and comfortable tops. Choose footwear that provides good support.

Yes. We have a large, free car park at our Whitefield location. There is a time restriction, and you will need to provide your car registration at reception when you enter. Parking at our site is owned by a third party, so please remember to provide your car registration.

The Women’s Gym is inside Total Fitness. We are located inside the main foyer, to the right. To access the gym, please use your QR code in the Total Fitness app or membership fob (if you are a Total Fitness member)..

Yes, we offer a complimentary introduction session where our team will show you around the gym and help you become familiar with the space.

Yes, there is a changing room area with toilet facilities. There are individual vanity and shower areas at The Women’s Gym Wilmslow.

Yes, The Women's Gym has lockers that you can use. Every locker has a 4-digit locking mechanism so you can use your own code to operate. Please remember to take all your belongings when you leave. We cannot take responsibility for any belongings left in lockers.

Yes, classes are included in all of our memberships.

Our friendly and knowledgeable team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. You will also see digital screens inside the gym with easy-to-follow workouts.

Yes. However, please ensure that you have spoken with your doctor or healthcare advisor before starting or continuing any exercise routine. Our team can help if you need to modify any exercises or if you need inspiration for what you can do safely and comfortably.

This space will be supported by our female team members. In an emergency, a male member of our team may need to enter the space. In the unlikely event that a male team member is entering the space, there will be an announcement.
Reformer Pilates

Classes can be booked through the Total Fitness app using credits purchased. Booking will be going live in September 2026.
Classes can be booked up to 21 days in advance.

We get it, plans change. That’s why our classes can be cancelled up to 12 hours before the start time and your credit will be returned.

If you can no longer make your class, please cancel as early as possible via the Total Fitness app. Cancellations made more than 12 hours before the class start time will receive their credit back.

Of course, our classes are designed around outcomes and intensity rather than ability, meaning there's no need to decide whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced before booking.
Every class includes options and progressions, allowing you to work at a level that feels right for you.
If you're new to Reformer Pilates, simply let your instructor know before class and they'll be happy to answer any questions and help you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.

Your class will last 45 minutes.
When booking, you'll be able to choose your preferred Reformer bed in advance. Each bed is numbered, making it easy to find your spot when you arrive, with options that face a mirror, content screen or neither.
Classes are limited to 10 women, creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
If it's your first time in the studio, simply arrive a few minutes early and let your instructor know. They'll be happy to answer any questions and help you get settled before class begins.

Yes. We recommend arriving 5 minutes before your class starts, and you're welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes early.
If it's your first time visiting the studio, we'd encourage you to arrive a little earlier so you can get familiar with the space, find your numbered Reformer bed and chat to your instructor if you have any questions before class begins.

We want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your workout. We recommend wearing clothing that allows you to move freely, such as leggings, yoga trousers, sports bras and comfortable tops.
And don't forget your grip socks. Grip socks are required for all classes and can be purchased at the studio if needed.

No, in order to keep our membership prices consistent for everyone, Reformer Pilates by The Women's Gym will be purchased as credits that can be used to book classes.

Absolutely. Our introductory offer gives you two Reformer Pilates credits for £30, making it the perfect way to get started. The offer is available once per person and can only be purchased on a single occasion.

Yes. All credits expire 6 months from the date of purchase. Don't worry, we'll remind you 30 days before they expire so you have plenty of time to use them.

Yes, brought to you by The Women's Gym, the studio is female-only and designed to help women feel comfortable, supported and confident.

Reformer Pilates at Wilmslow is available to The Women’s Gym Wilmslow members and female members of Total Fitness Wilmslow. Members must be age 16+ in order to attend.
Class Pass users will also be able to book selected classes when we open on 16th September 2026.
